Morphology

We’re very excited to announce the release of our latest album “Morphology”, available now for streaming on Spotify and for download on Bandcamp.

Recorded and mixed over the spring and summer of 2020, “Morphology” features four new tracks that explore themes of biology, abstract astronomy, and arcane physics.

“Morphology” is the seventh release by Kalte, the latest installment in an ongoing study of obscure science in musical forms. Building on our past theories and conjectures, “Morphology” establishes a new paradigm for Kalte, a new direction that we look forward to sharing with you…

Phages

We are very pleased to announce the release of our latest album, “Phages“, a collection of new music to usher in the second decade of Kalte’s work creating abstract ambience.

Alternative biology, improbable terrain, and unfathomable climates are all present in this latest work, combined with the classic sounds of glacial movement and xenomorphic disturbances that have defined the Kalte sound since it’s inception.

“Phages” is our sixth release since forming in 2008. Heavily influenced by chemistry, cryogenics, and alien geography, we continue to expand on our theories and explore the sounds of science…

“Phages” is available now for streaming or PWYC download on Bandcamp.

Audio Bleed Oct 25We’re very pleased to announce that Kalte will be performing at the Roland Inspiration Centre in Toronto along with our good friends dreamSTATE and Hozerz as part of the latest installment of Audio Bleed on Thursday, October 25th.

We’re particularly excited about this performance as October marks the Tenth Anniversary of our first release “The Lanthanide Series“, so we’ll be diving deep into the Kalte songbook to mark the occasion.

We hope that you’ll be able to join us as we celebrate a decade of making mysterious abstract music.
